Black Ethiopian Hebrew said to be from Upper Egypt ( Ethiopia).

St.Mauritius or St.Maurice (a.k.a. Moritz, or Morris)
led the famous and legendary

Roman Theban Legion in the 3d century.

He is one of the favorite and most widely venerated Saints of that group. He is Ethiopian Hebrew and stems from Upper Egypt, Ethiopia. Kush. He is also depicted as Moorish because of his Ethiopian Hebrew Roots,
and not, as falsely calimed, because of his name,
because it contains the word Moor.
